The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has condemned an alleged Iranian attack on one of its oil tankers, ADNOC, in the Strait of Hormuz. The incident occurred early on Saturday and was described by the UAE Foreign Ministry as a 'hostile Iranian attack'.

No injuries were reported, but the situation was initially said to be under control. However, this is not an isolated incident, with 15 ADNOC vessels reportedly attacked by missiles and drones since the start of the conflict.

The UAE Foreign Ministry accused Iran's Revolutionary Guards of 'acts of piracy' for targeting commercial shipping in the waterway. The ministry also called on Iran to halt the attacks and reopen the strait fully and unconditionally, citing a UN Security Council resolution on freedom of navigation.
