Al Dahra Agriculture Trading (ADAT) has executed a five-year wheat supply agreement with Egypt's General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC). The deal is valued at up to $500 million over five years and marks the transition from a strategic framework to operational implementation. This partnership was established in 2023, and the signing ceremony took place at the Cabinet of Ministers Headquarters in El Alamein, Egypt.
H.E. Dr. Sherif Mohamed Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade and Chairman of GASC, and H.E. Khadim Abdullah Al Darei, Co-Founder and Managing Director of ADAT, witnessed the signing of the agreement. This long-term operational wheat supply arrangement will be implemented under the existing financing program supported by the Abu Dhabi Exports Office (ADEX).
The five-year agreement is a result of targeted financing that supports long-term economic partnerships and strengthens trade ties between the UAE and Egypt. Al Dahra's longstanding experience in supporting large-scale supply requirements has made them a reliable partner for countries like Egypt.
