UAE Gold Prices Slip as Central Banks Boost Demand
UAE gold prices have fallen on Monday due to central bank demand being met, causing bull market expectations to rise.
The current price of gold in the UAE is AED 510.56 per gram, a slight drop from Friday's AED 513.44, according to FXStreet data.
Central banks are purchasing gold at historically high rates, adding 1,136 tonnes worth approximately $70 billion last year alone, with emerging economies like China and India driving the demand.
This sustained institutional buying has created a massive price floor for the precious metal, making it unlikely to see a deep market crash in the coming weeks.
