UAE Gold Prices Stable as Central Banks Boost Reserves
Gold prices in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) remained relatively stable on Monday, August 10. According to data from FXStreet, the price of gold stood at AED 512.42 per gram, showing little change compared to Friday's rate of AED 512.76. The price for gold in tola units was also steady at AED 5,976.69, down slightly from AED 5,980.78 on Friday.
The prices are calculated by FXStreet using international market rates and adapting them to the local currency and measurement units. These prices serve as a reference point for gold prices in the UAE and may not reflect actual market rates. Central banks around the world have been increasing their gold reserves in recent years, with 1,136 tonnes of gold worth approximately $70 billion added to their reserves in 2022.
