A drone strike on Monday caused a fire at the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ) in the United Arab Emirates, sparking condemnation from authorities. The attack was attributed to Iran and described as a 'terrorist act' by the UAE government. No injuries were reported during the incident.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the aggression is a clear violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2817, which emphasizes the freedom of navigation and prohibits targeting commercial vessels or disrupting international shipping lanes.

In response to the attack, Emirati air defenses intercepted four missiles launched from Iran, neutralizing three over the country's territorial waters. A fourth missile fell into the sea.
