UAE authorities reported that two ADNOC vessels were attacked while transiting the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday evening. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attacks, labeling them a threat to maritime security, regional stability, and global energy security.

The Ministry emphasized that targeting commercial shipping and using the Strait of Hormuz as a tool for economic coercion or blackmail constitute acts of piracy by Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps. They urged Iran to halt these unprovoked attacks and ensure its commitment to an immediate cessation of all hostilities.

According to Xinhua, quoting the Emirates News Agency, no injuries were reported in the incident. ADNOC confirmed that the situation has been brought under control and emphasized the importance of protecting seafarers' safety while safeguarding freedom of navigation and maritime security.
