UBS Sees Gold Prices Rallying to $5,000 by Mid-2027
Swiss-based banking giant UBS has given gold investors reason to be optimistic. In its latest analysis, the bank stated that sharp pullbacks in gold prices do not indicate a structural deterioration in the market.
According to UBS, levels at or below $4,000 are considered a long-term buying opportunity. The bank cited falling real interest rates and strong central bank demand as factors supporting its outlook.
The analysis also highlighted three key reasons why gold prices are expected to regain momentum: the decline in real interest rates, weakening US Dollar, and continued central bank purchases of gold stockpiling.
UBS is projecting that gold will reach levels close to $5,000 in the first half of 2027. The bank stated that dips towards and below the $4,000 level would create a strategic accumulation area for long-term investors.
