Ukraine Corn Prices Tumble Amid High Stocks and Export Uncertainty
Ukraine's corn prices are experiencing a decrease due to high stocks of old-crop corn and uncertainty about exports. According to agronews.ua, Ukraine has significant stocks of old-crop corn with initial corn stocks amounting to 2.25 million tons in the 2026/27 MY, compared to 0.84 million tons last year.
The production is expected to increase from 30.9 to 31.8 million tons compared to the previous season, but export forecast remains uncertain due to the suspension of exports from Ukrainian Black Sea ports since July 22.
Corn prices with delivery to elevators or processing plants currently range from 6500-7500 UAH/ton, but are expected to drop to $110-130/ton or 5500-6500 UAH/ton on FCA terms due to increased logistics costs and reduced exports.
