Ukraine Exports Over 1.4 Million Tonnes Amid Seaport Restrictions
Ukraine has exported over 1.4 million tonnes of grain, oilseeds and processed products since August 1st.
The country's Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Taras Vysotskyi, stated that this volume represents about one-third of the potential export volume for the period.
The majority of exports went through rail (600,000 tonnes) and the Danube route (600,000 tonnes).
The government has been working to support farmers amidst restrictions on seaport operations, including extending the deadline for foreign currency earnings from 120 to 150 days in collaboration with the National Bank of Ukraine.
