Ukraine Exposes 26 Russian Vessels Transporting Oil, LNG, and Stolen Grain

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) has identified 26 vessels used by Russia to transport oil, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and stolen Ukrainian grain. These vessels are transporting Russian oil and petroleum products from Black Sea and Baltic ports on behalf of companies such as Lukoil, Rosneft, Surgutneftegaz, Novatek, Tatneft, and Gazprom.

The HUR has also found that 18 of the identified vessels are not currently under sanctions imposed by Ukraine's partner countries. This includes the LAMAR S bulk carrier, which repeatedly loaded wheat in 2026 at the Avlita terminal in temporarily occupied Sevastopol for onward delivery, including to Syria.

The HUR emphasized the importance of synchronizing sanctions efforts and detaining vessels involved in violations to restrict Russia's maritime logistics and deprive it of resources to continue the war. The information was published on the War&Sanctions portal.
