Ukraine Extends Payment Term for Agricultural Exports Amid Logistics Complications
The National Bank of Ukraine has temporarily increased the maximum payment term for export operations of certain agricultural products from 120 to 150 calendar days.
This decision is related to complications in Ukrainian agro-export logistics, particularly due to intensified attacks on port infrastructure and civilian vessels.
The extended payment term applies to export operations carried out from July 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027, inclusive, for goods classified under specific UKTZED codes including wheat, rye, barley, oats, corn, soybeans, rapeseed or turnip seed, sunflower seeds, and vegetable oils.
The new regulation aims to reduce the risks of violating currency legislation by Ukrainian exporters due to transportation delays or other logistical problems.
