Ukraine Grain Exports Mixed in Early Season Report
Ukraine's grain exports have shown mixed results at the start of the MY 2026/27 season. According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, Ukraine has exported 3.284 million tons of grains and pulses as of August 21. This is 106 thousand tons lower than the same period last year.
Wheat exports have decreased by 622 thousand tons compared to last year's figures, while barley shipments are down 144 thousand tons. However, corn exports have increased significantly, reaching 1.452 million tons - a rise of 606 thousand tons from last year.
The most striking increase is in flour exports. Ukraine has shipped out 12.4 thousand tons of flour so far this season, which is more than 1.5 times higher than the same period last year. In terms of grain equivalent, the volume totals 16.5 thousand tons.
