Ukraine Grain Exports Stall Amid Rising Corn Demand

Grain exports from Ukraine have slowed significantly at the beginning of August. According to data from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, Ukraine exported 2.952 million tons of grains and pulses through August 12, a 4.8% increase from the same period last season.

This growth is largely due to higher corn exports, which reached 1.376 million tons by August 12, a 66% increase year-over-year.

However, wheat exports have declined by 18%, totaling 1.239 million tons through August 12. Barley shipments also decreased, falling short of last season's levels by 130 thousand tons.
