Ukraine Grain Harvest Forecast Soars 64.3 Million Tons Amid Favorable Weather
UkrAgroConsult has revised its forecast for grain and legume crops production in Ukraine, predicting a total of 64.3 million tons for the 2026/27 season.
This is an increase of 2.7 million tons from the previous year's harvest, thanks to expanded sowings and favorable weather conditions that have provided a high yield potential.
The main drivers of this upward revision are corn and barley production, with significant increases expected in both crops.
In particular, barley yields are expected to reach record levels, with an average yield of 4.42 t/ha achieved by the end of July.
