Ukraine launched a massive drone attack on Russia's Black Sea port city of Novorossiysk overnight, targeting two major grain terminals and putting them out of action. This move has raised fears of disruptions to global wheat supplies.

Russia is the world's largest wheat exporter, with most of its exports shipped via its Black Sea ports like Novorossiysk. The Ukrainian attack has sparked concerns that wheat prices will rise and hunger will spread in Africa and the Middle East.

According to Russian industry sources, at least two people were killed in the attack, including an 8-year-old child. The governor of Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratyev, described it as a 'massive' wave of Ukrainian attacks that targeted the area.
