Ukraine Strikes Paralyze Russian Grain Exports in Azov and Black Seas
Russia's grain exports have been severely impacted by Ukraine's strikes on ports and cargo ships in the Azov and Black Seas.
According to Andrey Sizov, CEO of SovEcon analytical agency, over 90% of grain handling capacity in the region has come to a halt.
The strikes have resulted in the closure of major terminals in Novorossiysk, including the NKHP and NZT, as well as the KSK terminal, which is the largest in Novorossiysk.
Sizov notes that only one terminal, in Tuapse, remains operational, but even this may not be sustainable due to winter storms and freezing temperatures.
