Ukraine Sunflower Oil Prices Soar Past 100 Hryvnias

Sunflower oil prices in Ukraine have reached an all-time high of over 107 hryvnias per liter, according to recent data. This represents a significant increase of 1.86% compared to August, with the consumer price index for sunflower oil continuing to rise.

The average cost of a standard 850 ml bottle has exceeded the record mark of 100 hryvnias in most retail chains, including Novus and Megamarket. The prices vary across different stores, ranging from 99.99 hryvnias at Novus to 112.50 hryvnias at Megamarket.

Additionally, a recent attack on the Oleina plant in Dnipro by Russian troops has temporarily suspended its operations. The plant belongs to the American corporation Bunge.
