Ukraine Surpasses Last Year's Grains and Legumes Export Totals

Ukraine's agricultural sector has kicked off the new marketing year on a strong note, with exports totaling 2.6 million metric tons of grains and legumes as of July 31.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food cited data from the State Customs Service to report these figures.

Of this total, wheat exports stood at 1.05 million metric tons, a significant increase from last year's 744,000 metric tons.

In contrast, barley exports were slightly lower than last year, reaching 294,000 metric tons compared to 267,000 metric tons in the same period.
