The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed an attack on two key targets in Russia: the Syzran Oil Refinery and the Atlant Aero facility.

According to the General Staff, units of the defense forces of Ukraine hit both facilities on the night of September 14-15. The Syzran Oil Refinery, part of Rosneft Oil Company PJSC, was struck by the AVT-6 primary crude oil distillation unit and the tank farm.

A large-scale fire broke out on the facility's territory after several SOF drones reached their targets, special forces operators confirmed. The refinery has a processing capacity of approximately 8.9 million tonnes of crude oil per year and produces petrol, diesel, aviation fuel, and other petroleum products for the Russian Armed Forces.

The Atlant Aero company, which specializes in producing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and their components, also suffered explosions and a fire on its territory. The facility is directly engaged in supplying UAVs to the Russian Armed Forces.
