Ukraine Wheat Prices Plummet Amid Export Market Disruptions

This week in Ukraine, wheat prices have plummeted due to reduced demand on the export market. The constant shelling of Black Sea port infrastructure and an accelerated harvesting campaign are the main reasons behind this decline.

According to agronews.ua, food and feed wheat prices have dropped by 1000-2100 UAH/ton since the beginning of the week. As of July 24, prices were recorded within the range of 8000-9500 UAH/ton for food wheat and 6500-9000 UAH/ton for feed wheat EXW.

The decrease in trading pace on the export market has led to a significant drop in wheat prices. This situation is expected to continue until the port infrastructure is stabilized, allowing for smoother exports.
