Ukraine Wheat Prices Slide Amid Logistics Woes and Grain Surpluses

Ukraine's domestic wheat market has seen prices gradually decrease over the past week, according to agronews.ua. Several factors have contributed to this decline, including difficulties with logistics and exports as well as increased grain supplies on the market.

However, some increase in demand from traders and higher prices for food wheat on the export market have provided support to the prices. Processors continued to actively purchase wheat, but mainly for current needs without forming large stocks.

The report also noted that demand prices for 2nd grade wheat ranged from 6400-8100 UAH/ton EXW and 166-177 USD/ton FOB, while feed wheat prices ranged from 5500-7600 UAH/ton EXW and 156-165 USD/ton FOB.
