Ukraine's Early Grain Harvest Reaches Record Levels

The early grain harvest campaign in Ukraine has come to an end, with farmers processing over half of the projected areas as of August. The total weight of the new harvest reached 31.73 million tons, with an average yield of 47 quintals per hectare.

The largest amount of wheat was harvested, 24.61 million tons from an area of 5 million hectares (97% of the plan) with an average yield of 49.2 q/ha.

Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, and Vinnytsia regions led in terms of yield, with record yields recorded at 70.8 q/ha, 60.1 q/ha, and 59.7 q/ha respectively.
