Ukraine has halted agricultural and other product exports through its Black Sea ports due to increased Russian attacks. Prime Minister Sergiy Koretsky warns of severe consequences for both Ukraine's domestic economy and global markets.

The Prime Minister emphasized the critical importance of seaport operations, which account for a significant portion of Ukraine's economy, exports, and foreign exchange earnings. Exports from the Black Sea basin make up a substantial share of all global wheat exports, Koretsky noted.

The blockade has led to a surplus of grain in Ukraine, causing a decline in prices. However, Prime Minister Koretsky highlighted the need for domestic processing development to mitigate the impact of the export restrictions.
