Ukraine's Tariffs Hold Steady for Gas and Electricity Amid Water Price Variations
The Ukrainian government has announced that tariffs for gas and electricity for household consumers will remain unchanged in September 2026. The natural gas price for customers of Naftogaz of Ukraine, who use the annual tariff plan, will continue to be 7.96 UAH per cubic meter.
This means that for most households, gas expenses will not change. However, it's worth noting that some companies may have higher prices under monthly commercial tariffs.
The electricity tariff for household consumers will also remain at 4.32 UAH per 1 kWh, with no increase expected in September. Owners of two-zone meters can take advantage of a lower price for nighttime electricity use, which is half the regular rate of 2.16 UAH per 1 kWh.
The water supply cost, on the other hand, will depend on the city and local authorities' decisions. The total cost of a cubic meter of water supply and sewage varies significantly across different cities, ranging from 45.97 to 109.14 UAH per cubic meter.
