Ukraine's Wheat Market Stagnates Amid Corn Price Decline
The Ukrainian wheat market remains stagnant due to lack of activity and varied prices depending on specific buyer needs, according to consulting company Barva Invest.
The price for wheat with a protein content of 11.5% on a DAP Danube basis is currently at $161-175 per tonne.
In contrast, the domestic corn market is showing signs of declining prices under pressure from expected new-crop supplies and significant carryover stocks from the previous season, said Barva Invest analysts.
The price for corn on a DAP Halmeu basis is currently at $175 per tonne.
