Ukraine's Wheat Prices Continue Downward Slide Amid Export Stagnation
Ukraine's wheat prices continued to decline last week, weighed down by stagnant exports and limited supplies of high-quality grain. According to APK-Inform analysts, most millers reported extremely low levels of Class 3 wheat and feed wheat in their stocks.
Farmers were unwilling to lower their asking prices for these types of wheat, with bid prices ranging from UAH 7,200-9,000 per ton CPT for Class 2 wheat and UAH 5,700-8,000 per ton CPT for feed wheat.
At Ukrainian ports, prices for milling wheat and feed wheat dropped by $8-20 per ton to $170-190 per ton CPT port and $155-175 per ton CPT port, respectively.
