Ukrainian Drone Strikes Hit Russian Grain Terminals in Novorossiysk

Ukrainian drone strikes have halted operations at two major Russian grain terminals in the port of Novorossiysk. According to Reuters, the Novorossiysk Grain Terminal and NKHP were damaged after overnight attacks on August 12.

The Novorossiysk Grain Terminal has an export capacity of 8.5 million tons per year, while NKHP has a capacity of 7.1 million tons per year. Industry sources confirm that both terminals have halted operations due to damage sustained in the attack.

Russia is the world's largest wheat exporter, with most of its exports passing through its Black Sea ports, including Novorossiysk. Demetra Holding, which owns the Novorossiysk Grain Terminal, has declined to comment on the extent of the damage.
