Unidentified Projectile Hits Tanker in Red Sea Off Saudi Coast

A tanker vessel was struck by an unidentified projectile in the Red Sea off the coast of Saudi Arabia, sparking a fire on its main deck.

The incident occurred approximately 116 kilometers west of the city of Yanbu, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).

All crew members were unharmed and there is currently no information about a possible oil spill or other environmental consequences of the attack.
