Uniper Secures Long-Term Norwegian Gas Supplies

Uniper has signed a long-term agreement with Norway's state company Equinor for natural gas imports. The contract, which spans 15 years from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2041, will see Uniper receive over 2.9 billion cubic meters of gas.

This amount corresponds to approximately 3.5% of Germany's total annual gas demand. Norway currently accounts for around 44% of Germany's natural gas imports, making it the country's primary supplier.
