U.S. agricultural exports are projected to reach a record $186.5 billion in fiscal 2027, according to the USDA's August outlook.

The improvement is concentrated in several commodities rather than spread evenly across agriculture.

Soybeans, soybean meal, corn, dairy, tree nuts, and horticultural products are among the major contributors to growth, with soybean exports forecast at $21.9 billion and corn exports reaching $19.1 billion.

However, other sectors face a different outlook, with rice exports projected slightly lower, soybean oil exports declining substantially, sorghum remaining below recent peaks, and beef exports staying relatively flat despite historically high cattle values.
