US Blockade Fails to Halt Iran Oil Sales
Tensions between Iran and the US continue to escalate as the Iranian oil minister confirms that oil sales are still ongoing despite the blockade on maritime trade.
Iran's Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad stated that 'oil sales have not stopped, and despite the reduction, the process of delivering oil to customers in distant waters continues.'
Paknejad noted that a significant portion of Iran's oil has been successfully transferred to designated customer delivery points.
The US blockade is seen as an aggressive move to strangle Tehran's economy by targeting its legitimate maritime trade and oil exports, which Iran views as 'economic terrorism' that violates the country's sovereign rights.
