The latest Commitments of Traders report from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission has been released for August 28, 2026.
The data covers various agricultural, energy, and metal commodities, detailing open interest and positions held by different trader categories.
SRW wheat on the Chicago Board of Trade showed open interest of 443,531 contracts, with producers and merchants holding 50,985 long positions and 124,433 short positions. Managed money held 87,501 longs and 101,098 shorts.
Corn futures on the Chicago Board of Trade had the highest open interest among listed agricultural contracts at 1,707,706, with producers and merchants net short by 720,854 contracts.
