US Corn Conditions Slide as Soybeans Hold Steady Amid Crop Report
The latest USDA Crop Progress report shows that U.S. corn conditions have taken a turn for the worse, while soybean ratings remain steady.
About 61% of the nation's corn crop is now rated good-to-excellent, down two percentage points from last week.
This decline comes as 90% of the corn has reached the silking stage, with 43% in the dough stage and 6% dented.
In contrast, soybean ratings remain unchanged at 63%, with 88% blooming and 62% setting pods.
