US Destroys Five Iranian Oil Tankers in Retaliation for Missile Attacks
US forces struck Iranian oil tankers on Thursday in response to attempted missile attacks on US warships, according to Central Command.
The US ship evaded the attempted Iranian attacks and continued to patrol regional waters without sustaining any damage or casualties.
Central Command said its forces destroyed five Iranian crude oil carriers, including the Kaviz, Charminar, Horizon 1, Riesco, and Derya in the Gulf of Oman and near Kharg Island.
