US Destroys Three Iranian Oil Tankers in Escalating Regional Tensions
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed that it successfully destroyed three Iranian oil tankers in response to ballistic missile attacks launched by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The incident occurred after the IRGC fired missiles towards two US Navy warships in regional waters. No American personnel were injured during the attack.
CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper stated that the vessels targeted were part of a 'multibillion-dollar shadow network' allegedly used to finance the IRGC and its regional proxies.
