Diesel prices in the US have reached an all-time high of $6.05 per gallon, according to American Automobile Association data as of Friday.

The surge in diesel prices is linked to soaring oil prices, which jumped by around 10% on a weekly basis due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

Crude oil prices have risen significantly, with Brent futures trading at $106 per barrel and West Texas Intermediate at $101 as of Friday morning.
