US Establishes Secret Oil Shipping Corridor Through Strait of Hormuz
The US military has established a secret oil shipping corridor across the Strait of Hormuz to facilitate the transport of millions of barrels of crude oil daily, despite the ongoing conflict with Iran.
The operation, which has been active for several weeks, involves 15-20 tankers navigating through a southern channel along the Omani coastline every night. Approximately 10 million barrels of oil per day are being moved out of the Gulf into international markets.
The US-led initiative assists both loaded and empty tankers in traveling through the strait, with coordination handled by a US task force operating out of Army headquarters at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
