US Farm Exports Surge to $91.8 Billion in First Half of 2026
US farm exports have seen a significant increase in the first half of 2026, reaching $91.8 billion, the highest level since 2022. This represents a 7% rise compared to the same period last year.
The boost in exports is attributed to record sales to several countries, including Mexico, the European Union, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The resumption of farm exports to China also contributed to the growth.
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins credited robust exports to trade deals negotiated by President Trump. She noted that key commodity export records were set in areas such as ethanol, dairy, and corn.
