US Farm Exports Surge to $91.8 Billion in First Half of 2026
US farm exports rose 7% in the first half of 2026 compared to last year, reaching $91.8 billion, the highest level since 2022, according to trade data from the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service.
The increase was driven by record-setting sales to Mexico, the European Union, Vietnam, and the Philippines, as well as the resumption of farm exports to China.
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins credited robust exports to trade deals negotiated by President Trump. 'We're seeing key commodity export records, like ethanol, like dairy, like corn,' she said.
