The Trump administration is prioritizing oil production and fuel supplies to combat high prices for American consumers. Energy Secretary Chris Wright emphasized that increasing supply, rather than limiting exports, is the current focus of the government.

The US retail diesel price has reached a record high of $5.90 per gallon on average, as wars in Iran and Russia have disrupted oil flows and reduced refining capacity.
