US Fuel Oil Output Surges 23K Barrels Per Day in August
The United States saw an 8% increase in average daily fuel oil production in August compared to July, according to data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA).
Output rose by 23,000 barrels per day to 327,000 b/d, while imports fell by 15,000 b/d to 140,000 b/d.
Total US fuel oil stocks increased by 313,000 barrels on the month to 21.69 million barrels, indicating a decline in supply and potentially lower demand for fuel oil.
