US Gas Prices Hold Steady at $4.09 per Gallon
The national average price of regular gasoline in the US remains at $4.09 per gallon for the second week in a row, according to AAA's latest data.
Crude oil prices continue to hover around $80 per barrel due to ongoing instability along the Strait of Hormuz, which is contributing to high gas prices.
This time last year, drivers were paying nearly a dollar less for regular gasoline, with an average price of $3.14 per gallon.
