The price of gold in the United States remained low on July 29, 2026, trading near $4,020-$4,033 per troy ounce due to investor sentiment regarding interest rates and the dollar. This level is its lowest since November 2025.

For US buyers, indicative prices for 24K, 22K, and 18K gold were $133 per gram, $126 per gram, and $103.10 per gram, respectively. Gold has a significant history of performance, with a return of 33.53% in INR over one year and 185.92% over five years.

Despite the current downturn, Commerzbank has cut its year-end estimate for gold to $4,500 per ounce, which would represent a 12% increase from the current price.
