US Grain Markets Close July with Broad Weakness
The US grain markets closed July on a downward trend, with soybeans, corn, and wheat all experiencing losses.
Soybean prices dropped between 1 and 5.25 cents across most contracts on Friday, with the August contract falling by $0.76 over the course of the week, while November fell by $0.66. Despite this decline, November managed to maintain a gain of 43.75 cents for the month.
The cmdtyView national average Cash Bean price reached $11.41.25 after dropping 7.5 cents. Soymeal futures also faced pressure, with August falling by $19.10 for the week. Soy oil followed suit, dropping significantly in the front months.
