US Grain Markets Under Pressure as Favorable Weather Supports Strong Harvest
Grain markets have been under pressure due to favorable growing conditions in the Midwest, which are boosting expectations for another strong U.S. harvest.
The recent weather forecasts calling for timely rainfall and moderate temperatures during a critical period of crop development have contributed to lower corn and soybean futures prices.
Analysts say that with crop conditions improving, traders are anticipating larger production estimates, increasing the likelihood of ample grain supplies this fall.
However, until the USDA's August World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report is released, grain markets will remain highly sensitive to changes in weather forecasts.
