US Imports 630K Barrels of Venezuelan Oil Daily Amid Production Hype

Venezuela's total oil production stands at approximately 1.2 million barrels per day, with the US importing around 630,000 barrels of that amount in June 2026.

According to OPEC secondary sources, Venezuela produced 1.031 million barrels per day in April 2026. PDVSA reported a figure of 1.136 million barrels per day, which is slightly higher due to differences in accounting for natural gas liquids and condensate.

US Deputy Energy Secretary Kyle Haustweit estimated the country's total production at around 1.25 million barrels per day in August, with Venezuelan exports totaling about 1.17 million barrels per day during the same month.
