US-Iran Clashes Send Oil Prices Soaring Over $4

Oil prices surged over $4 per barrel on Tuesday as renewed US-Iran clashes sparked concerns about potential disruptions to Middle East supplies.

The price increase pushed Brent crude futures to their highest levels in five weeks, settling at $94.65 a barrel, while WTI rose to $90.22.

The rally followed the United States launching fresh air strikes on Iranian targets after last weekend's exchange of direct attacks.

Analysts warn that prolonged disruptions to energy flows through the Strait of Hormuz could further fuel price increases.
