Oil prices held steady at around $94.90 per barrel for Brent crude after the US launched another round of military strikes on Iran, prompting a response from Iranian forces.

The escalating tensions between the two nations have worsened worries over energy supplies since the conflict passed its six-month mark in late February.

Benchmark U.S. crude rose 0.2% to $90.34 per barrel.
