US-Israel Strikes Hit Iranian Oil Facilities Amid Escalating Regional Conflict
Tensions across the Middle East have escalated after overnight air strikes by the United States and Israel targeted key oil facilities in Iran.
The attacks, which occurred on February 28, left four people dead and caused significant damage to five oil-related facilities in and around Tehran.
Keramat Veyskarami, Chief Executive Officer of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company, confirmed that the facilities targeted included oil depots and a petroleum transport centre in Tehran and nearby Alborz province.
The strikes were part of a broader regional conflict that began after the United States and Israel carried out a major attack on Iran, killing its supreme leader, Ali Khamenei.
