US LNG Exports Reach Plateau at 34 Shipments

US liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports have reached a plateau, with 34 shipments sent out during the week ending July 22. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), this is the same number as in the previous week.

The steady export level indicates that US LNG plants are maintaining their production pace despite some fluctuations earlier in the month. In fact, this marks a slight increase from the 31 shipments recorded in the week ending July 8, when exports were down five cargoes from the previous week.

It's worth noting that these numbers represent a moderate level of activity compared to the global LNG market. Global LNG imports declined by 2.9% year-on-year to 33.36 Mt in June, according to the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).
